The City and Nature

I've been reading many many blogs. A unique one was Andy Hawthorne Photography which focused on photography.
Something about the black and white photography likened back to the days where I did GCSE English Language.

One of the questions in the paper for English Language that we were given was a photograph and we were asked to write something "as suggested by this picture"
A picture showing a question where a magazine has asked for contributions for their creative writing section. The prompt being to describe a place at sunset as suggested by this picture, where the picture is a crowd of people walking on a bridge to the right.

When doing past papers the image would be in black and white because the school couldn't afford colour. (I don't blame them, printer ink is bloody expensive)

Due to these experiences black and white photography reminds me of my childhood.

Originally I was going to add pictures from Andy's blog however he seems to have moved on from either Bear or blogging.
Thank you Andy, wherever you are.

Robin

On my way back from the gym, I met Robin.
Not Robin from DC Comics but a robin, who I call Robin.
First picture of Robin
Their distinctive red breasts caught my eyes among a stream of rubbish.
Second picture of Robin
Robin flew and I walked away.

The Walk Back

As I kept walking, I noticed more and more life intertwined with my city.
A group of Birds on a roof of a building as well as a seagull flying by

When I took this picture:
This is a picture of a house with a plant jutting out
I felt incredibly dodgy taking a picture of someone's house but my desire for a picture of these daring plants got the better of me.
I admire their tenacity.

Conclusion

Even though my phone's picture quality is poor, I'll keep taking photos of things that delight, disgust or interest me.
