The best thing about deleting my youtube history
I've deleted my youtube watch history and paused it.
This means that my youtube home page looks like this:
and my shorts tab looks like this:
This has been a great idea. Now when I watch shorts on my phone there's only one short meaning i can't get sucked into watching more shorts mindlessly. My friend was a bit annoyed that he couldn't see my youtube recommendations anymore, but I take this as an absolute win.
Now all I have to waste time with is my subscription tab, which is much less frequent in content I actually want to consume.
As always on bearblog, being more mindful on what you consume is a good thing.
