Shock
This is gonna be a rant.
I'm not even american, but the results of today's election greatly troubled me. I had to sit in silence for a solid 2 minutes after learning of Trump's "victory".
I had some hope yesterday, but after seeing the results at 7:30 or so, my hopes were dashed.
I've only done a tiny little bit of research on things like project 2025, and what Trump's inner circle have said. Honestly what I learned from that small amount of research scared me and this scares me:
- Other countries emulate America (maybe less so now, that's just what I've observed in my short time here)
- Is it that hard to do more research on a person, who you'll be voting for. Maybe considering I haven't done that much but still.
