FUKOUNA GIRL

Yesterday I had a lab. It was a very simple lab. Use a multimeter to find the voltage and current of a resistor of unknown resistance.
Then use various methods to find the resistance using those values.
I left the lab feeling pretty alright with myself. I figured it all out and didn't have to spend too much time there.
As I was leaving I put on my playlist of music. I then put it on shuffle.
The song FUKOUNA GIRL by STOMACHBOOK came on.
I was overcome with a sudden sadness and started to tear up a bit.
There were a couple days in the summer where I had a friend who I'll call A.
First we met in Hyde Park. It was me, A and a friend of mine.
We saw the Geese(?) in hyde park. Had vodka and various mixers, like beer and white monster.
Walked around that part of London, from southbank and Enbankment to Leicester Square and the Jollibee there.
My friend actually lost their bank card that day but that quickly got resolved.
It's safe to say that hanging out with them was great fun. And so, the next time we met up (same people) was at bricklane. They even had a gift for me.
I can't lie, none of us were really feeling drinking in brick lane so we decided to head to my house for some indoor drinking.
After a fairly long bus ride, we made it.
At first we just drank and decided to talk more. But one of the favourites while drinking is karaoke.
And for a while, karaoke it was and FUKOUNA GIRL karaoke.
It was a great time, as all of us enjoyed the song.
So now FUKOUNA GIRL is very much tied to my memories of A.
They're dead now, hence the sadness.
